Are there any security issues I should be aware of?
- Keep your serial number confidential. Any individual obtaining access to the CD-ROM serial number can install the CD-ROM viewing software on their PC, thus allowing access to all data on any CD-ROM after the successful installation of the ImageDepot Express CD-ROM viewing software. All subsequent CD-ROM’s can be loaded and viewed without entering the serial number from the PC where the viewing software is loaded.

What type of Operating System will I need to access my CD-ROM?
ImageDepot Express has been verified on the following operating systems:
- Microsoft Windows 98
- Microsoft Windows 2000 Professional
- Microsoft Windows 2000 Server
- Microsoft Windows ME
- Microsoft Windows XP
Also recommended:
- Pentium II or higher (or equivalent)
- 64 MB of RAM
- 15 MB of disk space
(This is for the ImageDepot Express executables only, the space required for storage should be considered separately.)

How do I access my CD information?
- After successful installation of the CD-ROM viewing software, an ImageDepot Express Icon is automatically placed on your desktop. Each CD thereafter can be viewed simply by inserting the CD into the CD-ROM drive and clicking on the ImageDepot Express Icon on the desktop. Continue to follow the Loading CD instructions located on the Jewel Case insert provided with your CD-Rom.
What does it mean when I receive a message “Query results exceed maximum row limit (250). Load Next 250 items?
- More than 250 checks cleared the account within the statement month. Select yes to load the next 250 items or click no to view only the first 250 items cleared.
Can I change the default load of 250 items?
- To change the default load of 250 items - from the toolbar select Tools | Options, using the up and down arrow keys increase or reduce the “Query Result Buffer Options” to select the number of items available for viewing.
How do I launch the Check Search (query) window?
- Simultaneously press the Ctrl+Q keys on your keyboard or
- Select the icon which appears as: or
- From the Tool Bar Select Database | Query Checks
Can I search for more than one item at a time?
- You can expand your search options in the Check Search (query) screen by clicking on the + key to the right of the field you wish to expand. You can also narrow your search by changing the and / or option.
What does it mean to “Tag” an item?
- Tagging allows the marking of an item or item(s) for further review or printing.
How do I view multiple images at one time?
- Tag the check records of the images you want to review. Place the mouse pointer anywhere in the check detail list, and right click the mouse button. At the shortcut menu choose Image Popup | Tagged Rows. The front image of each tagged check will appear in a separate pop-up window.
- To display the back of a check in a pop-up window place the mouse pointer anywhere in the window and right click the mouse again. At the shortcut menu choose Front/Back.
Can I select multiple lines of data for further review?
- You can achieve this by tagging items individually for further review or
- Highlight any line of data in the listing of checks cleared. Using mouse, right click to display the Check Worksheet Options menu. Select Worksheet Behavior | Select List Mode then select multiple lines of data by pressing the Ctrl key and right mouse clicking on the lines of data you wish to further review.
Can I edit the rows of item details?
- To edit select single lines of detail from the listing of checks cleared, right click on the mouse anywhere in the check detail list and choose the shortcut which you would like to perform.
- To edit multiple lines of detail from the listing of checks cleared, using mouse right click to display the Check Worksheet Options menu. Select Worksheet Behavior | Select List Mode. You can select multiple lines of data by pressing the Ctrl key and right mouse clicking on the line(s) of data you would like to edit. After all lines of data are selected, right click on the mouse anywhere in the check detail list and choose the shortcut which you would like to perform.
How do I modify the worksheet properties?
- Highlight any line of data in the listing of checks cleared. Using mouse, right click to display the Check Worksheet Options menu.
- To sort or hide any column of data in the check listing worksheet, highlight the column, right click to sort or hide.
How do I restore the original viewing settings of the CD-ROM?
- Highlight any line of data in the listing of checks cleared. Using mouse, right click to display the Check Worksheet Options menu. Select Worksheet Properties | Restore Defaults.
Can I customize the toolbars?
- To customize your toolbars select Tools | Customize. Select or deselect items from the checkmark boxes to customize your icon selections.
What happens when I export my check information from ImageDepot Express to Excel?
- Exporting to Excel copies the entire content of an Item Browser worksheet to an Excel workbook. When you export to Excel, information in the Tag and Media Columns is ignored (i.e., item does not appear in the Excel spreadsheet).
How do I export data from the ImageDepot Express CD-ROM?
- Place the mouse pointer anywhere in the check detail list and click the right mouse button. A shortcut menu will appear. Choose Export | MS Excel. ImageDepot Express will start Excel, open a workbook and paste the contents of the item browser worksheet into the workbook.
(Note: Excel must be installed on the PC for the Excel Reports to work.)
Can I zoom-In to see images closer?
- Place the mouse pointer near the image detail you want to zoom in on, and click and hold the left mouse button. Drag the mouse pointer up, down, left, or right until a box surrounds the detail you are zooming in on. Release the mouse button. The size of the image detail increases in the window pane.
- To return the image to the original size: Place the mouse pointer anywhere in the image and click on the right mouse button. Select Fit, Fit Window.
